Mai from Prepbun was AMAZING!! With her assistance, my daughter raised her SAT math score from 580 to 730!! With a Superscore of 1460, she was offered several scholarships and was able to attend her college top pick!!

“Thao didn’t just help me memorize formulas or drill me on test strategies. She understood how I thought, how hard I was willing to work, and—crucially—where my gaps were. With her guidance, I scored a 750 on the math section of the SAT. But Thao became more than just a tutor. She became a mentor and friend, someone I could laugh with during late-night problem sets and lean on during high-stress prep sessions. Thanks in large part to her help in math, I was accepted into multiple Ivy League schools, Berkeley, UCLA, and several NESCAC colleges. I ultimately chose Yale, where I’m now finishing my senior year.”

"Working with Thao was easily one of the best academic decisions I made in high school. Her commitment and deep understanding of math helped me boost my SAT math score from a 600 to a 760—a huge leap that made a real difference in my college applications. But honestly, Thao is way more than just a great tutor. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and knows how to break things down clearly, but what really sets her apart is how easy she is to connect with. I now attend Williams College, the #1 liberal arts college in the country, and I can say I wouldn’t be here without her support.”

Mai is an amazing SAT tutor! She is extremely efficient, helpful, kind, and easy to work with. In just one month of working with her I raised my math score from a 580 to a 730. I was accepted to every school I applied to, including Texas A&M University, Trinity University, and Southwestern University, and I received multiple scholarships. I used to really struggle with the math portion of the SAT, from recognizing the concepts to finishing on time. After working with Mai, I finished both math sections with extra time and left very confident about my performance.
